While we were planning our stay in Cyprus, my wife and I wanted to make a quick visit to Cairo to experience the city and to see the Pyramids of... read more Giza. We were looking for a 24 - 36 hour fly-in/out option from Larnaca, and after researching online, Varianos Travel showed up. Their team was extremely responsive to helping customize the travel (they have access to flights that I did not see when trying to coordinate on my own). They were also very explanatory about every step of the way, from the excursions/tours, to the lodging and extras. Everything went according to the plan that we agreed to. We were picked up right after landing from Omar. He took us to get our visitor visas, and even walked us through immigration and handled the communication. We were then picked up and escorted to the markets where we had multiple hours to explore on our own and we took full advantage. He set a time that he would be back to pick us up, and he showed up right on time. After that, we were taken to our Nile Dinner Cruise which was an absolute treat. Both the food and entertainment were spectacular. The next day, our tour guide, Saied picked us up from the lobby of our hotel and we hit the ground running. His knowledge and experience was clear as we were able to avoid all of the large crowds at the pyramids, and he was our personal photographer both with phones and DSLR cameras. His knowledge of Egypt, and passion for the profession that he has chosen were evident. He made us feel very welcome throughout our long day together. We were able to tick off a major bucket list, via the care and coordinate of all parties involved. Thank you Lily, Elena, Omar and Saied for making our visit something we will remember for the rest of our lives.
