Jewel of the Seas – Covid 19 information

To participate in one of the Jewel of the Seas cruise from Limassol, all persons over 18 years will need to be fully vaccinated against Covid 19 twice and with the 2nd dose taken at least 14 days prior ship’s sail. You will also be asked to take a PCR test 72 hours before boarding and have a negative test result available. You will need to complete the Royal Caribbean Health Questionnaire, available to you in the app 24 hours before sailing. 

You may be denied boarding for all reasons stated HERE and especially for the below:

  • Prior to boarding, or at any time during the voyage, failure to comply with our safety and health policies.
  • Failure to . provide evidence of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
  • Failure to provide truthful answers to our health questionnaire.
  • Evidencing COVID-like symptoms, including but not limited to temperature readings that equal or exceed 38 degrees Celsius.

In case you are diagnosed with Covid-19 2 weeks up to your embarkation or onboard and have followed all the embarkation protocols, you will be fully refunded. Furthermore, Royal Caribbean will cover any onboard medical costs for treatment as well as any required land-based quarantine for that guest and will arrange and pay any additional costs incurred by the guests for safe travel home.

We recommend guests with a higher risk of severe illness to consult with their doctor prior to booking a cruise.

Any cancellation made by the guest by at least 48 hours prior sailing for personal reasons will be entitled to a cruise voucher equal to the amount paid for the cancelled cruise.

As the Conid 19 pandemic is an ongoing one, protocols change so guests will be updated via the Royal Caribbean App or travel agent of any new procedures.
